Oppo Find X9 Ultra Debuts in India With Giant 7,050 mAh Battery and Flagship Cameras

Oppo has officially introduced the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s in India, and the company is clearly aiming at users who want everything packed into a smartphone — top-end cameras, powerful hardware, and massive battery life.

The new Find X9 series enters the premium smartphone space where brands are increasingly competing on camera performance and battery endurance. With batteries crossing the 7,000 mAh mark and high-resolution telephoto cameras, Oppo’s latest phones are designed to stand out in a crowded flagship market.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra Focuses on Power and Photography

The biggest talking point of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is its enormous 7,050 mAh battery. That is significantly larger than what most flagship smartphones currently offer. Oppo is also shipping a 100W fast charger inside the box, which is becoming increasingly rare in the premium segment. The phone additionally supports 50W wireless charging.

On the front, the device features a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The display can reach a peak brightness of 3,600 nits, which should help with outdoor visibility, while Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 adds protection against scratches and drops.

Powering the Find X9 Ultra is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 right out of the box.

Oppo is once again putting major emphasis on camera hardware. The Find X9 Ultra comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes:

For selfies and video calls, users get a 50 MP front camera.

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra has been priced starting at ₹1,69,999 in India.

Oppo Find X9s Brings Flagship Features at a Lower Price

Alongside the Ultra model, Oppo has also launched the Find X9s for buyers looking for a premium experience without crossing the ultra-flagship price range.

The Find X9s features a 6.59-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,600 nits peak brightness. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

The smartphone runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s chipset and comes with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. Like the Ultra model, it ships with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.

One of the standout features here is the 7,025 mAh battery, paired with 80W fast charging support. Even though it sits below the Ultra variant, the Find X9s still offers one of the largest batteries in its category.

For cameras, the Find X9s includes:

The phone also comes with a 32 MP selfie camera.

The Oppo Find X9s starts at ₹79,999.

Oppo Joins the Big Battery Trend

Over the last year, smartphone brands have started pushing bigger batteries without making devices noticeably thicker or heavier. Oppo’s latest launches show that trend is only getting stronger.

The Find X9 Ultra, in particular, seems targeted at users who rely heavily on their phones throughout the day — whether for gaming, photography, travel, or content creation. At the same time, the focus on zoom cameras and high-resolution sensors suggests Oppo still sees mobile photography as a key battleground in the premium market.

With the Find X9 series now official in India, Oppo is taking direct aim at rivals in the flagship Android segment, especially brands that have traditionally dominated camera-focused smartphones.
